300hp small block 350 with 4 bolt mains, 9.1 to 1 compression, Corvette cam,
Holley powder coated manifold with a Edelbrock "Thunder Series w/AVS" 650
cfm carb, lots of chrome accessories, Thermal coated block hugger headers,
K&N filter, MSD-6A Ignition & Billet Distributor, chrome 140 amp GM Kool-Charger
alternator, Bill's Hot Rod chrome brackets, polished Sanyo 508 A/C compressor,
and a Mattson powder coated radiator with 16" SPAL electric fan.
Trans: Turbo 400 Automatic with 2200 stall converter, Lokar fill tube
and electric kick down and a Specialty Auto Tech 32" aluminum dual-pass
transmission cooler.
Chassis: Chubby Chassis
Tubular Independent Front Suspension with Koni coil over shocks, front
disc brakes (drum rear), power rack & pinion steering was added to the stock
'41 frame.
-Ford 9" rear end with 3:0 gears from Extreme Automotive, Corona, CA with
Durant mono leaf springs and Deutsch Tech 9-way adjustable shocks. Drive shaft
is from Inland Empire Driveline Service, Ontario, CA.
-American "Torque Thrust II" wheels, 15x7 in front, 15x8 in rear, with Goodrich
TA radials.
Body & Interior:
Front reclining seats are from '76 Thunderbird (6-way power on drivers side)
covered in grey tweed by Collins Upholstery, Upland, CA. Rear seats are stock
'41.
-Bright Sapphire Metallic paint applied by McGibbon's Auto Body, Eagle Rock,
CA. All holes in firewall have been filled. Car has been nosed and decked
with recessed license plate. So-Cal swan-neck style outside mirrors and Mr.
40's trunk lifts have been added along with a cable trunk release. LED tailights
from Technostalgia in Madison, IN replaced the stock tailights for better
rear visability. And to see better at night, halogen headlights are used.
-Stewart Warner "Wings" Series Gauges are set in R.H. Jones Aluminum dash
panels. The stock radio area was reworked to fit the Kenwood AM/FM/CD player.
A hidden antenna is tucked nicely in the headliner. Power windows and 6 way
power driver's seat give us all the pleasures of a newer car. A GM van tilt
column with polished aluminum shifter, tilt lever and turn signal lever from
RB's Obsolete along with a LeCarra steering wheel is mounted under the stock
'41 dash. Lokar pedals were the final addition along with the Vintage A/C.
The butted windshield and tinted glass was installed by the The Glass House,
San Dimas, CA. Shoulder harness seat belts in the front with lap seat-belts
rear were added along with a LED third brake light and chrome fire extinguisher
for added safety. NSRA safety
inspected w/23 pin.
