1950 Studebaker "Dually" Pick Up

Engine:
Chevrolet, 338 horsepower, 502 cubic inch crate motor. Fuel injection is Holley Pro-injection by Doug Fugate of Instant Injection, Hesperia, CA.
-GM-4L80E Automatic Transmission with Gennie Shifter. Drive shaft is from Bob's Driveline, Victorville, CA.
Chassis:
Modified stock Studebaker 1-1/2 ton frame. Front axle is from a '64 Ford 1-ton
van with 75 Ford disc brakes. Front steering components are owner made. Front
& rear shocks are out of a Chevy pick-up. Front steering dampner was installed.
The '76 CHevy 14-bolt rear end runs 4:10 gears and uses a stock sway bar.
Body & Interior:
The 60/40 bench seat comes from a 1988 GM pick-up. The dash was flattened
and house VDO gauges. The interior was stitched at Ron Mangus' Custom Auto
Interiors in Bloomington, CA. Glass work was done at Jack's Glass, also in
Bloomington, CA. The bed is from a '97 Chevy 1-ton dually, that was narrowed
12" by the owner to fit the cab. Bob also did most of the body work.
He had Ted Lorany over in Apple Valley finish the body work and spray on the
beautiful "Pale Orange" paint.
