Engine: Chevrolet 355hp ZZ4

Transmission: 700 R4

Chassis: The stock '39 frame has had many modifications (to many to list). Up front is a Total Cost Involved independent suspension with a 8" Ford rearend in back. A GM van tilt column helpssteer the '39 down the road. The entire frame has been powdercoated and rides on BFG radials wrapped around Billet Specialities "Legacy" wheels.

Body modifications: The '39 was taken to Kiwi Konnection in Bakersfield, CA where Dingo and Squeak shortened the decklid 9", installed "49 Ford tailights, lenghtened the original grille 4" and filled the center seam making it a one-piece. They then hand built new running boards and modified the '39's hood adding side panels that can be removed. After Kiwi Konnection was finished, they took the car to Kal Koncepts in Bakersfield where the beautiful PPG base coat-clear coat Lexus silver jade paint was applied.

Inside the car, the dash was modified and fitted with Stewart Warner gauges. A lower panel was added to accomidate the Vintage air ducts and controls. A Pioneer AM/FM tuner and remote CD changer blast out the tunes. The power seats come from a '78 Caddy that have been narrowed 3" and covered in fine leather by Jerry Webster in San Luis Obispo, CA.
